Cupping is a technique that uses suction to decompress muscles and connective tissue. This promotes blood flow to the compromised area, enhances circulation, breaks down myofascial adhesions (scar tissue), and helps to increase the body’s own healing processes.

Spinal decompression explained

This device allows for safe and highly effective treatment of spinal disc herniations, degenerative disc disease, arthritis and stenosis. The table decompresses the spinal column, thereby reducing disc compression, helping to heal the injured disc, while reducing nerve compression and pain, and improving mobility.

Trevor May

ChiroFIT Founder & Doctor of Chiropractic

With his competitive sports background, Dr. May specializes in sports chiropractic medicine, which focuses on disrupting underlying adaptive scar tissue that forms in and around joints as a result of  injury, chronic stress (such as long periods of sitting), or faulty biomechanics.  By combining biomechanics with chiropractic techniques, Dr. May has proven highly successful in restoring range of motion and overall function to patients that run the spectrum of physical fitness, age and ailment. His integrated approach focuses on muscle coordination, strength, and endurance to create the mobility and stability every individual needs to live an active and rewarding life without recurring bouts of pain. 
 

Dr. May graduated with a degree in Health Ecology from the University of Nevada, Reno, and doctor of chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic West where he was a member of the international Chiropractic Honor Society.

Chad Luca

Doctor of Chiropractic

Originally from Alberta, Canada, Dr. Luca is an avid outdoor enthusiast and former collegiate athlete. After suffering a debilitating back injury, Dr. Luca learned about the benefits of chiropractic, which later led him pursue a career in the field. 

 

Dr. Luca earned his bachelor of science in biology from King's University, Edmonton, graduating with honors, and his doctor of chiropractic from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon before moving to Reno.

Dr. Luca focuses on correcting the underlying cause of injury, and provides comprehensive treatment protocols to enhance strength and mobility, all while reducing pain and improving quality of life.
